Ultrasound imaging or sonography is a diagnostic imaging technique used to see internal body structures such as tendons, muscles, joints, vessels, and internal organs. Obstetric ultrasound, the practice of examining pregnant women using ultrasound, is commonly practiced at Plumas District Hospital. Ultrasound imaging is one of many service offered by Plumas District Hospital's radiology department.
